What is a Frequency Converter
A frequency converter, also known as a variable frequency drive (VFD), is an electronic device that is used to control the speed of an electric motor by varying the frequency of the power supplied to it.
The frequency converter works by converting the incoming AC power into a stable DC voltage, and then converting the DC voltage back into an AC voltage of the desired frequency using an inverter.
